Guardian Angel Program FAQ
The Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation is pleased to introduce the Guardian Angel Program!
Please read on to find out all about this recognition program for the Hospital staff.

What is the Guardian Angel Program?
The Guardian Angel Program is: A meaningful way for grateful patients and their loved ones to help the Royal Victoria Hospital buy new equipment and improve our facilities while honouring a Royal Vic caregiver or employee who has gone above and beyond the call of duty during a patient’s time at the hospital.

What is the idea behind the Guardian Angel Program?
The Guardian Angel Program closely mirrors The Royal Vic’s core values of compassion, commitment to quality, teamwork and respect for the individual. The Guardian Angel Program also follows the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation’s mission to enable people to support the highest quality health care and advance lifesaving research at the Royal Victoria Hospital.

How does it work?
A grateful patient makes a donation in honour of a special caregiver or employee. The employee then receives a special pin and thank you letter from the Foundation. The employee’s supervisor will receive a copy of the letter. The recipient’s name will also be recognized in our newsletter and online at www.royalvic.com.
