Endowments
An endowment is a gift set aside and invested, to generate funds for a specific purpose into perpetuity. The capital of an endowment is always left intact, and only the earnings are spent, usually annually, on the designated purpose or department for which the endowment was created. In order to generate enough earnings, The Royal Victoria Foundation has set a minimum of $100,000 for the creation of an endowment fund.
